FAQ

Italy Company Formation Questions

Why is the residence route rated very hard?

Ordinary self-employment visas are limited by yearly quotas that fill within days. Investor and Startup Visas avoid the quota but need investment or an innovative project.

S.r.l. or S.r.l.s.?

S.r.l.s. is cheaper and uses a standard deed; S.r.l. allows custom articles and is expected by banks and investors for larger businesses.

Is Italian VAT registration automatic?

Yes, the company receives a VAT number (partita IVA) at formation; quarterly filings follow.
